If you have checked your Junk/Spam folder and there is no email from firstname.lastname@example.org you will need to contact your IT staff. Some school districts and large organizations have mail filters that stop suspected SPAM at the mail server itself so that it does not reach users' inboxes. You will need to ask your IT staff to add email@example.com to the list of allowed/safe senders.
