We’ve made updating or editing your Roster in the Management System simple.


You have two editing options:

1. Bulk edits with a spreadsheet/CSV

2. Editing each record individually


Updating with a Spreadsheet

After you’ve added your initial roster, you’ll see two new options in the Rosters tab:

Replace Entire Roster

Use this option if you need to make changes to your entire roster, such as removing old students and adding in new students during the beginning of a new school year.

Add to Current Roster

Use this option to add new records without deleting roster records. This is a good option for adding many new students at once.




Replace Your Entire Roster

To replace your entire roster, you have two options: 

Option 1

Download your current roster template, make changes, and re-upload it.

1. Navigate to the Roster tab in the sidebar menu.

2. Download your current roster by clicking the link next to Roster Archives.

3. Make your changes.

4. Save as a CSV UTF-8 file type.

5.Click "Replace Entire Roster" on the Roster page.

6.Click "Upload CSV."


IMPORTANT

Replacing an Entire Roster

Any record that isn’t included in your spreadsheet (CSV) will be unlicensed and deleted from the Admin Portal.

This change is permanent. It cannot be undone.


Option 2

Download a blank roster template and start over. 

1. Navigate to the Roster tab in the sidebar menu.

2. Click "Replace Entire Roster" on the Roster page.

3. Click "CSV Template" to download a blank template.

4. Make your changes.

5.Save as a CSV UTF-8 file type.

6.Click "Replace Entire Roster" on the Roster page.

7.Click "Upload CSV."


Add to Your Roster

Use this option to add new records without deleting roster records. 

1. Navigate to the Roster tab in the sidebar menu.

2. Click "Add to Current Roster" on the Roster page

3. Click "CSV Template" to download a blank template. Remember: The template you download is supposed to be blank. This method only adds records. It does not delete them.

4. Add your new information.

5.Save the file as CSV UTF-8 file type.

6.Upload the CSV with your changes.


Quick Tip Be sure that the spelling of classes, teachers, and other records remains consistent with your initial roster upload or you may accidentally create duplicate entries.
